# Introduction

SeiventuresNFT aims to be a small, joint-investment DAO with its focus on DeFi in the Sei ecosystem.

Our goal is to build a sustainable DAO in a transparent and honest way by managing our NFT-funded treasury in the best way we know. By owning one of our NFTs you become a DAO participant.

**Founding motivation**

In the world of DeFi it's crucial to be part of the community which will challenge the honesty of the projects. The motivation for founding the SeiventuresNFT is to be that community.

There are multiple reasons for becoming a part of our community and some of which could be:

* You want to take part in the innovative space of DeFi but you simply don't have enough knowledge.
* You are a [degen](https://www.coingecko.com/en/glossary/degen) investor and you want to become a smarter degen.
* You simply want to be a part of like-minded community and socialize.

**Core values**

SeiventuresNFT is being built around three core values; **Transparency**, **Integrity** and **Sustainability**. All of the efforts that core contributors do is with the focus on those three values.
